Session Schedule
The House leadership has deleted more days from an already thin schedule. February has been trimmed to one week of session, which is unusual. We expect that a majority of the time in May and June will be used for budget negotiations, which makes session days from January through April critical.
Although a majority of May and June are used on budget negotiations, a lot of other legislative work will get completed in those months because of the 2010 elections. The legislative work that gets completed in May and June are the issues we are working on now.
